收藏资源简介:
This material includes data and code of the manuscript '‘Slow-fast’ plant trait spectra are associated with ecological niches across global climatic gradients (GEB-2024-0782)'. The dataset includes root traits from 158 angiosperm species (root.csv) and leaf traits from 512 angiosperm species (leaf.csv) with their leaf and root trait 'slow-fast' spectrum and ecological niches. We also collected their distributions (leaf_geo.csv and root_geo.csv) and rebuilt their phylogenetic relationships (leaf.tre and root.tre). The TraitNiche.Rmd includes the code required for statistical analysis of the figuring. Please refer to the methods section in the main text of the manuscript for more details. Abbreviations in root.csv: SRL: specific root length, RD: root diameter, RTD: root tissue density, RN: root nitrogen content, RC1: root traits collaboration spectrum, RC2: root trait 'slow-fast' spectrum. Abbreviations in leaf.csv: Amass: photosynthesis per unit leaf mass, Nmass: leaf nitrogen per unit leaf mass, LMA: leaf mass per unit area, LL: leaf lifespan, RC1: leaf trait 'slow-fast' spectrum. General abbreviations in root.csv and leaf.csv: omi.all: niche position based on all environmental factors, tol.all: niche breadth based on all environmental factors, omi.temp: niche position based on temperature factors, tol.temp: niche breadth based on temperature factors, omi.prep: niche position based on precipitation factors, tol.prep: niche breadth based on precipitation factors, omi.text: niche position based on soil texture factors, tol.text: niche breadth based on soil texture factors, omi.nutr: niche position based on soil nutrient factors, tol.nutr: niche breadth based on soil nutrient factors, prep: precipitation, temp: temperature.
