Fish Gut Microbiota and Water Environmental Samples from Yi'an Reservoir

This project investigates the microbial communities within the gut of fish inhabiting the Yi'an Reservoir and correlates them with the microorganisms present in the surrounding water environment. The primary objective is to understand the composition, diversity, and potential function of these microbial ecosystems. By analyzing samples from both fish intestines and reservoir water, this study aims to explore the interactions between host-associated microbiota and environmental microbes. The findings are expected to provide insights into aquatic ecosystem health, fish physiology, and the environmental factors influencing microbial dynamics. This research contributes to the broader fields of environmental microbiology, aquatic ecology, and fishery resource management.
