CESM1.2 Ensemble for the Samalas Eruption

This dataset contains model simulation output from CESM1.2 for the 1258 CE Samalas volcanic eruption. The data are organized into two categories:

(1) Full-Forcing Experiments (M13C-FF_TS) Simulations spanning January 1256 to December 1260. File naming convention:

TS_b.e11.B1850C5CN.f19_g16.LME.Restart.to.1258.#.cam.h0.1256_1260.nc

where # denotes the ensemble member number 001-015.

(2) Pacemaker Experiments Simulations spanning April 1258 to March 1260, divided into two groups:

Cooling Group (prescribed SST cooling applied to specified ocean basins):
