Hazard ratio for death and SI.

Values are given as HRs (95% CI). The Cox proportional hazards models and the time-dependent Cox models were adjusted for the baseline characteristics including gender, race, hypertension, DM, serum albumin-corrected calcium level, hemoglobin level, ln(PTH), elevated WBC count, nPCR, ln(vintage), and Kt/V. Patients were categorized into four groups on the basis of quartiles of SI. In the analysis using time-dependent Cox models, groups were treated as time-dependent variables.
