资源简介:
Neurogenic bladder (NB) is a common complication of neurological and metabolic diseases that leads to impaired bladder function, recurrent infections, and progressive damage to the urinary tract. Current treatments mainly aim to reduce bladder pressure and protect kidney function, but they do not repair damaged bladder tissue or restore normal voiding. Therefore, new regenerative approaches are urgently needed. This project investigates how CD73, an enzyme expressed on stem and stromal cells, regulates metabolic and immune signaling to promote bladder repair. We will study how CD73 affects cellular metabolism, particularly lactate production, and how these metabolic changes influence gene regulation and inflammatory responses in bladder tissue. Using adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) with modified CD73 activity, we will test whether enhancing CD73 signaling can improve tissue regeneration and reduce chronic inflammation in experimental models of neurogenic bladder.By combining molecular analysis with functional studies, this research aims to identify a CD73-centered metabolic and signaling pathway that coordinates tissue repair and immune resolution. The findings may help develop new regenerative therapies that restore bladder function rather than only managing symptoms.
