Danish Gallup Omnibus Data 1976, Omnibus no. 04

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data, 1976 comprises 20 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1976. (Numbering goes to no. 21, however, but omnibus no. 16 has not been handed over to the DDA). # #Each of the 20 omnibuses consists of a number of recurring questions as well as a number of special questions (concerning topical events). # #The questions common to all 1976 omnibuses are: the respondent's sex, age and marital status; size of the household and number of adults (persons aged 15 or more) and children (persons under 15), and age of the children; household composition; the respondent's status in the household; the respondent's education, occupational status, private or public employment and income; education, occupational status and private or public employment of the head of the household; household income; occupational status of the housewife; type and ownership of the dwelling; geographical location of dwelling and degree of urbanization; reading habits as regards newspapers, weeklies and monthlies; whether the respondent listened to the Radio News or watched the TV News on the day before the interview; cinema visits; means of transport used by the respondent on the day before the interview; which party the respondent voted for at the last general election (in 1975); and which party the respondent would vote for at a hypothetical general election on the day after the interview. # #The special questions in this omnibus deal with the following issues: # #Attitude to the birth-place criterion as applied in Greenland; voting intention at a hypothetical referendum on Danish membership of the EC; attitude to an expansion of the political co-operation within the EC; and knowledge of and attitude to the fisheries dispute between Iceland and Great Britain
