Effect of elevated CO2 on methane emission from two contrasting freshwater marshes

In our project, we aim to determine the effect of elevated CO2 on methane emission, methanogen and methanotroph in the Calamagrostis angustifolia and Carex lasiocarpa growing marshes. The methane emission, methanogen and methanotroph in the Calamagrostis angustifolia and Carex lasiocarpa marshes may response differently to elevated CO2 since the different soil and plant characteristic.
