SOCIAL SPECIALIZATION OF PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS EXPRESSING HUMAN BEHAVIOR

The article provides a detailed examination of the issue of social specialization of phraseological units (phraseologisms) expressing human behavior. Drawing on the approaches of sociolinguistics, cognitive linguistics, and traditional phraseology, the article analyzes the use of these units depending on gender, age, profession, social status, territorial and cultural-social groups. The emotional-evaluative, characterological, and socio-pragmatic features of phraseological units expressing human behavior are revealed on the basis of examples. Each scientific conclusion is substantiated by relevant sources by means of footnotes.
