Examples of various ways of collecting money by street performers

Collecting donations from an audience is an essential part of any street performance, as well as of many of street festivals. The set of data includes an overview of various ways of collecting money by street performers during the European street festivals from 2022 to 2023. Presented pictures show how money can be collected by street performers in a traditional way (to the hat, case, tin, etc.) or in a modern, cashless form (via apps and platforms such as “blik”, “PayPal”, “scan to tip”, etc.) within the international context (Poland and Scotland). The aim of the set of data is to outline the variety of strategies involved by street performers in collecting donations as the cashless payments become more and more common.
