Black and white lantern slide showing two female missionaries from the Peruvian Inland Mission standing next to a car on a mountain road in Peru. A driver stands next to one of the open car doors. The missionary nearest to the door of the car is Miss Frances Rhoda Gould, a nurse who accompanied Miss Annie G Soper on his first missionary journey to Moyobamba in 1922. The missionary standing next to her resembles Miss Edyth Mary Vinall, a nurse in the Lamas Hospital run by the Peruvian Inland Mission. This slide comes from a collection created by the Peruvian Inland Mission, an evangelical mission started in 1930 by Miss Annie G Soper in northeast Peru, which was administered by the evangelical interdenominational mission, Regions Beyond Missionary Union from 1948.
