Human tumor-associated macrophages from lung adenocarcinoma vs. alveolar macrophages from adjacent non-tumor tissue

Human tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) were isolated from lung adenocarcinoma tissues and compared with alveolar macrophages (AMs) obtained from adjacent non-tumor tissues. For details, see Hoppstädter et al., 2021 (doi:10.1016/j.ebiom.2021.103578). Overall design: Next-generation sequencing of human alveolar macrophages and tumor-associated macrophages. Cells were obtained from three donors and analyzed in triplicate.
