A MULTIDIMENSIONAL FRAMEWORK FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING: DIGITAL INNOVATION, COGNITIVE LINGUISTICS, ASSESSMENT, AND CONTENT-BASED LEARNING
收藏资源简介:
Modern English Language Teaching (ELT) is rapidly evolving under the influence of digital transformation, cognitive science, and interdisciplinary education. This paper proposes a multidimensional framework that integrates digital innovation, cognitive linguistics, assessment strategies, and content-based learning (CBL). The aim is to move beyond fragmented teaching methods toward a unified system that enhances linguistic competence, cognitive engagement, and academic performance. The framework highlights how digital tools support interaction, how cognitive linguistics explains language processing, how assessment drives learning, and how content-based instruction provides meaningful context. The study argues that effective ELT in the 21st century requires synergy among these domains rather than isolated application. The proposed model offers practical implications for curriculum design, teacher training, and technology-enhanced pedagogy in diverse educational contexts.
