Data for the 2016-2026 Seismic Activity in the Aomori-Sanriku Region in Japan: Earthquakes, Forerunner and Afterrunner Relationships, and Possible Scenarios

The dataset contains supporting datasets for the manuscript entitled "Seismic Activity in the Aomori-Sanriku Region in Japan and its Possible Scenarios". Datasets S1-S6 provide processed both JMA (2020-2024) and USGS (2018-2022 and 2022-2026) data related to b-value estimations. Data sets S7-S9 provide processed 2016-2026 USGS data related to forerunner and afterrunner relationships. In all datasets, variable definitions are provided in the respective header lines. For forerunners and afterunners - event 1 denotes 'parent' (larger event) and event 2 denotes 'child' (smaller event).
