RNA sequencing of Vicia cracca from the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone

Vicia cracca L. is a hardy, fast-growing plant common in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Growing in the territory of chronic contamination with radionuclides, it is a promising object for studying the mechanisms of plant adaptation to long-term anthropogenic pressure. The goal of the study is to determine differentially expressing genes responsible for molecular and cellular adaptation to chronic ionizing radiation.
