The Whole Atmosphere Data Assimilation (NEDAS+WACCM ) T_U_V_W_GPH

The dataset originates from the Whole Atmosphere Data Assimilation System (NEDAS+WACCMX), encompassing atmospheric parameters from the surface to approximately 120 km altitude, including zonal wind (U, m/s), meridional wind (V, m/s), temperature (T, K), geopotential height (GPH, m), and vertical wind (W, m/s), with a temporal resolution of 1 hour and horizontal resolutions of 2.5° (longitude) × 1.895° (latitude). The dataset encompasses the period from 01 December 2018 to 28 February 2019, covering a total of 90 days. This dataset was employed in the study “Quasi-4-Day Waves During the 2018/2019 SSW and Their Coupling to the Ionosphere Based on Whole-Atmosphere Data Assimilation.”
