资源简介:
File List data.txt (MD5: f7cbc6a8557f54dd2fe5af10893cb460)Description The data.txt file is a tab-separated data-set. It contains the data on oak recruit density, 1956 land cover, propagule source distance and pine tree density for the sampled plots in the pine plantations of Sierra Nevada, Spain. Column definitions Plot identification UTM X coordinate UTM Y coordinate Quercus ilex recruit density: sum of oak seedlings and saplings in each plot (no./5-m radius plot) 1956 land cover: land use / vegetation cover in 1956 for each plot, obtained through detailed photo interpretation of the regional land-cover map 25,000 for 1956. Four categories: oak formation, mid-mountain shrubland, pasture, and cropland 1956–2005 average propagule source distance: average of the nearest oak-patch distances in 1956 and 2005 for each plot (m) Pine tree density: number of pine trees > 7.5 cm diameter at breast height (DBH) within the 20 × 20 m plots (no. trees/ha) Missing values are represented as “NA”. Checksum values: Column 4 (Quercus ilex recruit density): SUM = 1852; 0 missing values (rows with data: 168). Column 6 (1956–2005 average propagule source distance): SUM = 74791.45; 0 missing values (rows with data: 168). Column 7 (pine tree density): SUM = 131215.40; 0 missing values (rows with data: 168).
