In 2021, the study of Genetic Signatures from Adaptation of Bacteria to Lytic Phage Identify Potential Agents to Aid Phage Killing of Multidrug Resistant Acinetobacter baumannii was performed in Wuhan Institute of Virology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.Here, we experimentally adapted A. baumannii WHG40004 to its lytic phage P21 to generate phage-resistant bacterial mutant, named Ev5-WHG. By analyzing the genome of Ev5-WHG, we observed genetic alterations in multiple important pathways.Then the sequencing data was uploaded to the National Genomics Data Center (NGDC) with the Bioproject ID PRJCA007903.The image data corresponding to the research involved in the study were also uploaded to the ScienceDB database.
