Comparisons of mean values of kinematic parameters of the walking legs.

Comparisons of means between stride frequencies at high speeds (fT), contact lengths (sC), stride length (sT) at high and low speeds, anterior (AEP) and posterior (PEP) extreme positions, as well as lateral distances of the tarsal contact points of the four pairs of walking legs (1 to 4, counted from anterior) to the body axis. Significance numbers (sig) refer to comparisons between the legs with significant differences on the 5% level, i.e. if 3 and 4 occur in the significance column of the 1st legs, then the differences to the 3rd and 4th legs are significant, but not the difference to the 2nd legs.
