Microsporidia MB mediated transcriptomics and gut microbiota shifts in Plasmodium falciparum infected Anopheles arabiensis mosquitoes.

This dataset is a transcriptomics dataset from the guts of mosquitoes that were infected and non infected with the symbiont Microsporidia MB. In addition the mosquitoes included in the study were exposed and non exposed to Plasmodium falciparum positive human blood. Microsporidia MB is a newly discovered endosymbiont of the Anopheles mosquito that has been shown to have a Plasmodium falciparum transmission blocking phenotype.
