Pharmacological Activation of STING blocks SARS-CoV-2 infection

We infected Calu3 cells (derived from human lung epithelium) with SARS-CoV-2 for 24 and 48 hours. Calu3 cells were also treated with the STING agonist diABZI for 6 and 12 hours. Finally, heterozygous K18-hACE c57BL/6J mice were treated with diABZI for 6 and 12 hours and lung tissue was harvested for sequencing. Calu3 cells infected were infected with SARS-CoV-2 or treated with diABZI. Mice were treated with diABZI and lungs were harvested for sequencing.
