FOWD (Free Ocean Wave Dataset) output from the CDIP buoy data catalogue (including all data up to November 2020). This is the dataset described in the paper "FOWD: A Free Ocean Wave Dataset for Data Mining and Machine Learning" (Häfner et al.). This data is free for public use. In scientific publications, please cite the above paper, and acknowledge CDIP. For your convenience, a list of all download URLs is available in the files !FILE-INDEX.txt and !FILE-INDEX-FILTERED.txt. For example, to download all unfiltered files via wget, you can use: $ wget -i !FILE-INDEX.txt Raw data were furnished by the Coastal Data Information Program (CDIP), Integrative Oceanography Division, operated by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, under the sponsorship of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
