Economic Sentiment Indicator of the Benelux 2022-2023

This statistic shows the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) of the Benelux countries (Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands) from November 2022 to October 2023. The Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) characterizes the general economic situation in a defined period. It is a combination of five different confidence indicators, each with its own different weights: Industrial confidence indicator; Consumer confidence indicator; Services confidence indicator; Industrial confidence indicator; Construction confidence indicator; Retail trade confidence indicator.These indicators are designed to show how optimistic or pessimistic a group feels about the general market or certain business environments and how various factors, such as unemployment or inflation, affect future behavior.
