Infection of LUVA mast cells with Salmonella Typhimurium wt and S.Tm ?invG

Human LUVA mast cells were infected for 4 h with Salmonella Typhimurium SL1344 wildtype (wt) and S.Tm ?invG to explore LUVA mRNA expression levels upon infection and the role of type-3-secretion-system mediated invasion. Overall design: mRNA from 0.5x10^6 LUVA cells per group, infected with S.Tm wt or ?invG, as well as uninfected control cells, was analyzed by RNA seq. Every experimental group has 3 replicates. Each replicate derives from a separate bacterial subculture.
