Mitsubishi car sales in France 2009-2021

Mitsubishi, headquartered in Tokyo, is a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer founded in 1970. Since 2016, one-third of the company has been owned by Nissan Motor Corporation. French sales of Mitsubishi cars rose from 2.1 thousand units sold in 2009 to 4.4 thousand units sold in 2011, before declining to approximately 2.4 thousand units sold in 2017. Sales went up again from 2017 until 2020 when the coronavirus pandemic started. As of 2021, the company´s sales in French territories amounted to 1,967 vehicles, the lowest sales number registered throughout the period given.
