Modern LaTeX Editions of Public-Domain Mathematics Manuscripts: Clean-Filtered PDF and Artifact Downloads

This version cleans up the public download surface after visual QC. Each included work has a direct display PDF and a matching per-work artifact ZIP containing the flattened TeX, metadata, QC rows, contact-sheet evidence, and prior/source artifacts where present. A full-repo ZIP is also included for bulk users. Live project status as of 2026-05-26: 31 candidate modern-LaTeX display PDFs were re-audited with structural checks, extracted-text checks, and sampled rendered-page checks. 29 works are included as clean candidates in this version. 2 display PDFs are held locally and not uploaded as clean display files: darboux_lecons_geometrie because its display PDF is visually poor/raw-OCR-like with sparse sampled pages, and riemann_gesammelte_werke_complete_kimi because strict rendering found dark/inverted pages. These held works remain documented in the manifest for repair and later inclusion. Download pattern: use pdf__<work>.pdf for the reader-facing PDF, artifacts__<work>.zip for TeX/source/QC artifacts, and full_repo__modern_latex_corpus_v7_clean_filtered.zip for the full included clean-candidate corpus. Rights/provenance policy: the public record contains public-domain source works, scans of those original works, and machine-assisted transcriptions of those original works. Scans of the original papers/books are release material. Modern collected-work packages are held only when that exact package is confirmed copyrighted; in that case the workflow strips prefaces, publisher matter, editorial apparatus, and exact collected-work organization, then publishes original public-domain papers as coherent per-paper scan/transcription units. Held lanes such as Deligne, SGA, Weil, Cartan, Kahler, and exact confirmed-copyright collected-work packages remain outside the clean public upload until separated into public original-paper units or otherwise confirmed safe.
