this article examines the concept of vehicle safety from a systemic perspective. The study considers the interrelationship between the main components that determine transport safety, including the human factor, the technical condition of vehicles, road infrastructure, and environmental conditions. Particular attention is paid to the development of active and passive vehicle safety systems, electronic control technologies, advanced driver assistance systems, and digital technologies aimed at preventing road traffic accidents and reducing their consequences. The article emphasizes the importance of a systemic approach to assessing vehicle safety and identifies the role of modern digital technologies in improving the reliability and efficiency of road transport safety systems.
