Effects of Ciprofloxacin on the Gut Microbiota of Chinese giant salamander Under Copper Ion Stress

This project aims to investigate the combined effects of copper ions and ciprofloxacin on the gut microbiota of Chinese giant salamander. Both copper ions and antibiotics, such as ciprofloxacin, are common environmental pollutants that can impact aquatic ecosystems. Zebrafish are used as a model organism to explore how these stressors affect intestinal microbial communities, which play a vital role in host health and immunity. Through 16S rRNA sequencing and microbial analysis, we will assess shifts in microbial composition and function. The study will provide insights into the interactions between metal ions and antibiotics, with implications for environmental health and aquatic organism physiology.
