This dataset contains outputs from the Weather Research and Forecasting model coupled with Chemistry (WRF-Chem v4.6.0) in northern China in the early August 2022, with a horizontal resolution of 0.25° and 33 vertical layers extending from the surface to 10 hPa.The model configuration included:Microphysics: Morrison double-moment schemeLand surface model: Noah LSMPlanetary boundary layer: MYNN schemeRadiation: RRTMG for both longwave and shortwaveChemistry: MOZART mechanism with MOSAIC aerosol moduleEmissions: Anthropogenic emissions from the 2020 MEIC inventoryFollowing the Air Quality Model Evaluation International Initiative (AQMEII) protocol, the simulation was divided into two overlapping 88-hour time slices:Slice-1: July 30, 08:00 LT – August 3, 00:00 LTSlice-2: August 2, 08:00 LT – August 6, 00:00 LTEach slice included a 16-hour spin-up period.Meteorological initial and boundary conditions were provided by ERA5 reanalysis. Chemical boundary conditions were derived from the CESM2.2/CAM-chem global model. For the first slice, chemical initial conditions were taken from CESM2.2/CAM-chem; the second slice used the output from the first slice.Two simulations are included:BASE run: Full emissions scenarioBLK run: A sensitivity experiment where anthropogenic emissions were removed within 114°E–119°E and 36°N–41°N.
