资源简介:
Ompok pabda, commonly referred to as the pabda fish, is a highly esteemed freshwater species widely consumed in South Asia for its remarkable nutritional value. This fish is renowned for its tender texture and subtle taste, serving as a nutritious source of high-quality protein, important fatty acids such as omega-3, as well as essential micronutrients like calcium, phosphorus, iron, and vitamins. Bacterial infections in Ompok pabda may substantially affect aquaculture output and fish health. These infections may result in symptoms like dermal sores, fin deterioration, stomach distension, and haemorrhaging. Infected fish may exhibit reduced feeding, lethargy, and increased mortality, which ultimately results in economic losses for fish farmers. Moreover, outbreaks can compromise water quality and spread rapidly in high-density farming systems.
