资源简介:
Wheat is one of the important staple crop in the world. Starch is the main component of wheat grain and it is made up of two units, amylose, and amylopectin. Starch quality depends upon the amylose and amylopectin content. Starch quality can be modified by changing the ratio of amylose and amylopectin. In the current study, we used 3 EMS mutant lines with different amylose content, in the background of Indian variety C 306. In the current study, 3 low-amylose lines (TAC 6, TAC 358, and TAC 846) and 10 high-amylose mutant lines were used. Transcriptome sequencing was done on the Illumina platform. The transcriptome data in this study will be serving in the wheat breeding program to improve starch quality and a better understanding of starch in wheat.
