Given that RKN invasion is sensed by roots, and root-derived JA-signaling will activate systemic defense response, which is, to date, poorly understood. Here, we investigated variations in the RKN-induced transcriptome in scion phloem between two tomato plant grafts, CM/CM (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill. cv. Castlemart) and CM/spr2 (a JA-deficient mutant).
