Increase biodiversity outcomes on the Victorian Volcanic Plains

The project is situated on the Victorian Volcanic Plain, a national biodiversity hotspot and one of the most intensely cleared agricultural regions in Australia, with more than 25 nationally threatened flora and fauna species. The project seeks to achieve real and practical environmental outcomes through the reduction of negative impacts caused by weeds, agriculture and human practices. Project objectives are to build capacity amongst young Australians to care for the environment, while also contributing to achieving local, state, national and international obligations for the improvement and protection of biodiversity.
