The whole human genome microarray was used to analyze the differentially expressed genes in MIA PaCa-2 xenograft after DBDx treatment. A total of 255 genes were down-regulated and 212 genes were up-regulated by at least 2-fold between DBDx-treated and saline-treated group. The most obvious changes in Gene Ontology biolocial process classification were related to the immune system and tumor vasculature. NIH (nu/nu) athymic mice bearing MIA PaCa-2 xenografts(100 mm3) were treated orally with saline or DBDx at 242 mg/kg once daily, 5 consecutive days a week for 3 weeks. Three days after the last administration, mice were sacrificed and tumor tissues were used for gene expression analysis. Three mice per group.
