Images, Spectra, and 3D Scans from 2021 Experiments done at the NASA Ames Vertical Gun Range to Study the Effects of Impacts on Organics

This dataset contains data (3D scans, photographs, and reflectance spectra) of impact craters and samples from impact experiments produced during impact experiments done in 2021 at the NASA Ames Vertical Gun Range as part of a NASA Discovery Data Analysis Grant. Each zipped folder contains the data for a single experiment, with subfolders that contain the 3D scan (in .obj format), photos, and reflectance spectra. This data collection also includes the results of a simple 2D impact model of one of the experiments, as well as reflectance spectra of the target and projectile endmember materials and physical mixtures of pumice + gilsonite and serpentine + gilsonite. These are in the zipped folder called "otherData".
