Mouse rs-fMRI and simultaneous physiological recordings across various doses of isoflurane and dexmedetomidine anesthesia (free-breathing)

This is the dataset that was analyzed in the publication titled "Evidence-based guidelines for improving network detectability in rodent fMRI". It contains rs-fMRI scans as well as simultaneous respiration and pulse oximetry recordings from 16 mice (8 C57Bl/6J and 8 C3HeB/FeJ, 4 males in each strain). Each mouse was scanned 3 times (approx 1 week apart), with a different dose of dexmedetomidine administered in each session (0.025 or 0.05 or 0.1 mg/kg/h ip infusion). Moreover, within each 24 min scan the isoflurane dose begins at 0.23%, then is increased to 0.5% at the 8min mark then to 1% at the 16min mark. A small subset of mice were unstable (close to waking) at 0.23%, so their isoflurane was varied from 0.5-1.5% instead. See the provided csv for details on each scan. Note that the provided physiological recordings are raw, and must be processed to obtain metrics such as respiration rate. The respiration recording was sampled at 225 samples/s and the pulse oximetry at 450 samples/s. Only the SpO2 data can be used as is (1 sample/s).
