资源简介:
The results of the study include the physicochemical, structural, morphological, and biological characterization of bioactive porous materials based on poly(3-hydroxyoctanoate) (P(3HO)) functionalized with oligomers of 3-hydroxycarboxylic acids covalently conjugated with gentamicin and diclofenac. Both monofunctional and bifunctional systems were developed and assessed with respect to their antibacterial performance, surface properties, porosity, and in vitro interactions with human keratinocytes. The materials were evaluated in the context of their potential application as advanced wound dressings and acellular skin substitutes for the treatment of chronic and infected wounds.
