Data from a Descriptive Buildings Record at Barn C, Manor Farm, Passenham, Northamptonshire, August 2023.

This collection comprises images and a report from a descriptive buildings record carried out by Cotswold Archaeology at Barn C, Manor Farm, Passenham, Northamptonshire in August 2023. Cotswold Archaeology was commissioned by The Parks Trust to undertake a programme of Historic Building Recording in respect of a building, titled 'Barn C' at Manor Farm, Passenham, Northamptonshire. The building is not included on Historic England's National Heritage List for England, nor is it located within a Conservation Area or a local list of non-designated heritage assets. The significance of the building is principally derived from its evidential value as a vernacular building of the mid to late 19th century. Whilst the building is in an advanced state of deterioration, its overall form and limited surviving internal features contribute to an understanding of the building's historical function as a cow house and attached hay shed. Apart from its age and vernacular appearance, the contribution of historic, aesthetic and communal values to the building's significance is very limited.</p>
