After the lockdown in May 2020, 38 percent of the Indian respondents of this survey claimed that their price propensity for the purchase of innerwear increased. In contrast, across formal wear categories such as formal shirts, or trousers and suits the price propensity decreased. This goes along a lower willingness to spend on formal wear at all.
