资源简介:
Climate change threatens biodiversity, affecting species distribution and composition. In the threatened Brazilian Cerrado, future projections indicate higher temperatures and lower precipitation, impacting anuran distribution. We assessed the relationship between diversity changes and climatic variables using species distribution models for 139 anuran species. Our results show that most of the Cerrado is predicted to lose anuran species richness, with beta diversity shifts driven by species turnover. Higher temperature anomalies and climate change velocity tend to cause species loss or lower gains, while temperature extremes influence beta diversity shifts. These findings provide information for conservation planning to prevent anuran species loss in the Cerrado.
