资源简介:
The Imagenex 881A Imaging Sonar 5714 was deployed on 2016-05-03 at Fraser River Delta Upper Slope. This site is located on the upper slope of the Fraser River delta, where depth is approximately 100 metres. This device is a Imaging Rotary Sonar. Imaging Rotary Sonars (IRS) are devices used in underwater mapping: imaging and profiling. An IRS transmits either conical or fan-shaped beam, and its range and resolution depends on the frequency and configuration of the device. Reflected signals, or echoes, are recorded and analyzed in order to develop an image of scanned area that includes information on the range between the sonar and the scanned object. It was deployed on a fixed platform. Data from this deployment were archived and made available through Ocean Networks Canada's Oceans 3.0 digital infrastructure, with quality assurance and derived data products following established practices.
