The invention relates to a hand-held power tool (11)， in particular a hand-held circular saw， comprising: a saw blade holding region (13)， which in particular can releasably hold a circular saw blade (15) and which has， in at least one operating state of the hand-held power tool (11)， a plane of rotation (Re) of the circular saw blade (15); a drive unit (19)， which is surrounded by a drive housing (17); and an energy storage unit (21)， in particular a storage battery pack (21)， for supplying electrically energy to the drive unit (19)， the energy storage unit being arranged on the drive housing (17). According to the invention， the drive unit (19) and the energy storage unit (21)， in particular the storage battery pack (21)， are arranged parallel to the saw blade holding region (13) or the plane of rotation (Re).
