Eukaryotic communities from the Red Sea

Using environmental DNA metabarcoding, eukaryotic communities were characterized across the entire water column of the Eastern Red Sea. The findings reveal that environmental gradients and ecological processes jointly structure marine biodiversity, with clear latitudinal and vertical patterns that provide a baseline for monitoring and conservation in this rapidly changing region.
