The goals of this study are to compare four groups skins of sheep transcriptome profiling (RNA-seq) to identify differentially expressed genes in different coat colors and to Identify key genes associated with coat color, which would be useful and helpful for artificial selection of natural coat color by utilizing those specific genetic resources.
