Ecotoxicological responses of the yellow-tailed lambari (Astyanax lacustris) to mining tailings from the Doce River basin

This dataset contains biochemical, physiological, and survival responses of Astyanax lacustris exposed to mining tailings under four experimental conditions combining water type and substrate: DS (Dechlorinated water + Sand), RS (River water + Sand), DT (Dechlorinated water + Tailings), and RT (River water + Tailings). The data include oxidative stress biomarkers (e.g., nitric oxide, malondialdehyde, antioxidant enzymes) across multiple tissues, hormonal measurements, growth parameters, and survival outcomes. The dataset is organized into tables separated by variable category, each containing the columns Treatment (for one-way ANOVA), Substrate and Water (for two-way ANOVA), and the corresponding biomarker variables and units. All raw data are provided, along with RMarkdown outputs for one-way and two-way analyses and the associated figures, enabling full reproducibility of the statistical procedures.
