Core and mantle thermal evolution constraints on the onset of plate tectonics and a long-lived geodynamo -- Data and Software
收藏资源简介:
README This repository contains the data and code required to reproduce the results presented in this work. BENCHMARK_CORE This folder contains the code and input files necessary to reproduce the benchmark. To run the benchmark, you must first download the code from Greenwood et al. (2021) at the following address:https://github.com/sam-greenwood/thermal_history.git The folder "thermal_history" must be placed inside the "BENCHMARK_CORE" directory for proper functionality. CORE Models and Results This folder contains several components: Model Figures The script "Figure_model_jsedi.py" reproduces the figures illustrating the model. "PREM500.csv" contains the PREM model data. "Qradmt_SL.npy" contains the radiogenic heating as a function of time for a case without continental crust (i.e., bulk silicate Earth). Model The "model" folder contains: Python scripts implementing the model YAML files defining the model parameters MCMC Results Reader The "MCMC_readfiles" folder contains a Python script used to read and process MCMC results. Important Note Before using the MCMC read-file script, the contents of the « data » archive must be extracted into a directory named "data". Summary Install the external dependency ("thermal_history") Use the provided scripts to reproduce figures and results Extract the required data before running MCMC analysis
