The study involved 44 female swimmers.
Mean participant characteristics reported in the article were:
- chronological age: 13.45 ± 0.85 years,
- body height: 165 ± 6.16 cm,
- body mass: 53.2 ± 6.79 kg,
- biological age: 14.99 ± 2.27 years.
Testing procedure reported in the manuscript:
Day 1
- anthropometric measurements,
- countermovement jump test on a force plate,
- 1-minute tethered swimming test with simultaneous oxygen uptake measurement.
Day 2
- 200-m front crawl race with video-based kinematic analysis.
The manuscript states that all participants were clinically healthy, held valid licenses issued by the Polish Swimming Federation, had completed 5–6 years of systematic training, performed at least eight training sessions per week, and regularly participated in national-level competitions.

The study was approved by the Bioethics Committee of the Regional Medical Chamber (approval No. 94/KBL/OIL/2020). Written informed consent was obtained from participants and their parents.
