Dataset of microscopy (Confocal and electron) - Outer epidermal edges mediate cell-cell adhesion for tissue integrity in plants

This dataset contains several sub dataset of Arabidopsis thaliana dark grown hypocotyls microscopy image obtained as reported in the study "Outer epidermal edges mediate cell-cell adhesion for tissue integrity in plants" (bioRxiv link). Airyscan: 3D stacks and 2D projections from propidium iodide and direct red 23 stained wild type Col-0 and the mutant arp2-1, qua2-1 and qua2-1 esmd1-1 acquired with a ziess LSM 980 confocal microscope airyscan detector and processed with airyscan joint deconvolution. Confocal: 3D stacks and 2D projections from propidium iodide stained wild type Col-0 and the mutant arp2-1 and qua2-1 acquired with a ziess LSM 800 confocal microscope. Confocal (Correlative): 3D stacks and 2D projections from propidium iodide stained wild type Col-0 and the mutant arp2-1 acquired with a ziess LSM 800 confocal microscope though a correlative microscopy approach with atomic force microscopy. The correlative AFM dataset is available in the related repository 10.5281/zenodo.15124336 with a mirrored data organization. Cryo-SEM: 2D Cryo-Scanning Electron Microscopy dataset of Col-0, arp2-1 and qua2-1. Spinning disk: 3D stacks and 2D projections from propidium iodide stained arp2-1 samples acquired during micro extensometer stretching with a Nikon/CrestOptics Cicero spinning dik microscope. TEM: 2D Transmission Electron Microscopy dataset of Col-0, arp2-1, qua2-1 and qua2-1 esmd1-1. Include Segmentation masks, local thinkness maps, and ROIs used for the cell wall thickness quantification on 4-day-old Col-0 samples.
