资源简介:
Field datasets used in the manuscript "Inga and lianas are key players in the tropical nitrogen cycle of Brazilian Atlantic Forest: insights from linking rates of nitrogen fixation with DNA barcoding root identification" by J.B. Winbourne, K.E. Hasenstab-Lehman, A.N. Egan, D. Piotto, W.J. Kress, and S. Porder, submitted to Biotropica (January 2025). The file "DATAVERSE_LIBRARY_FIMS_BaROTTS_Winbourne_et_al_2025.csv" contains all of the relevant information for samples in reference library created in this study. This dataset includes herbarium voucher sample IDs, name for collectors of samples, date of herbarium collection, and information pertaining to DNA sequencing of these samples (extraction plate location, accession numbers from GenBank submission). The file "DATAVERSE_FIMS_BaROTTS_Winbourne_et_al_2025.csv" contains all of the relevant information for root samples collected in this study, including plot specific collection information, rates of nitrogen fixation estimated on each root nodule, nitrogenase efficiency, nodule weights, and information pertaining to DNA sequencing of these samples (extraction plate location, accession numbers from GenBank submission). Lastly, the file "MetaData_BaROOTS_Winbourne_et_al_2025.txt" contains all meta-data for this study with detailed description of each column of data in each data file described above.
