资源简介:
This series contains admission registers maintained by three different units of the Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital during the time it was operating over two campuses at Bankstown and Lidcombe. There is an Accident and Emergency (A&E) register, drawn-up on a day-to-a-page diary, which, for each admission on a day, records: time in; name; SSA (short stay admission?) or D/O (day only); time out and ward (or discharged). For a period, the waiting time was also recorded. There are two registers, one of which is labelled 'DSU' (Day Surgery Unit), that relate to admissions to Ward 3 North at the Lidcombe campus. These registers record: date; admitted/transferred; hospital or private patient; whether an X-Ray was taken; religion; phone number; diagnosis; age; separation date, and to where transferred or discharged, including follow-up. Each entry has a hospital sticker affixed which provides the patient file number and details such as name, address, date of birth, sex and doctor. There is also a register, labelled 'HDU' (High Dependency Unit) which records: date; from where the patient was transferred; initial diagnosis; final diagnosis; where transferred to, and date and time transferred. Each entry has a hospital sticker affixed which provides the patient file number and details such as name, address, date of birth, sex and doctor. From March 1994, the entries are less structured and provide greater detail on procedures performed.
