资源简介:
This dataset includes the research on the evaluation of diverse 60 genotypes including Back-Cross derived Nested Association Mapping (BCNAM), bi-parental mapping populations, and accessions from different countries such as Nigeria, USA, Lesotho, Ethiopia, and Mali for nitrogen use efficiency. DNA was isolated from 4 – 6 leaf stage of 58 Sorghum genotypes (2 genotypes did not germinate) using the modified hexadecyltrimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) protocol from 12-day-old seedlings. The genotyping was done following the Genotyping by Sequencing (GBS) approach with the ApeKI restriction enzyme used for complexity reduction. The Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs) were called using TASSEL v5.2 GBS pipeline against Sorghum assembly v3. The final data included a total of 89,770 SNPs (obtained from 58 accessions out of 60) with minor allele frequency (MAF) >1% and missing data <50%.
